Once you sign up for the 40-hour online course for your Michigan real estate license, these are the steps you need to take to become a practicing real estate agent.
Step #1: Study

#2 Pass the Exams
In Michigan, the school’s final exam does not need to be proctored. The final exam from RealEstateU is included at the end of the course. You can complete it online at your own convenience. The final exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions with a time limit of 120 inutes. You must complete the course (including the final exam) within 12 months.
The next step is finding a sponsoring broker and registering to complete the state exam. Once you register online, your sponsoring broker will verify their sponsorship. #3 Build Your Business
